The fashion industry has long been plagued by issues of exploitation, unethical practices, and environmental damage. However, there is a growing movement towards transparency that is challenging the status quo and paving the way for a more sustainable and ethical future.

I am the kind of shopper who always goes to the “about us” section of a company website, why? Because when I buy products & services, in particular, clothes I like to know that I'm buying and wearing my values & that they are matched by the company I'm about to drop some cash on. Usually, I’m met with a standard “about” page or not even one at all. Most times I cannot find a shred of information about how the products were manufactured.

This is when I realised transparency is seriously lacking in the fashion industry and the retail industry in general.
